Robert N. "Red" Cowell Sr., a long time Banksville resident, died peacefully on March 3rd, 2014 at the age of 80. Red is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary (Sobocinski), his son, Skip (Teresa), Abby (Marty) and Philip (Katie). He is the proud Grandfather of 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. Red enjoyed a full life of making the world a more beautiful place and will be missed by those that knew him. Friends may call at the Oekler-Cox and Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 East Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY on Wednesday, March 5, from 4-8pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 11am followed by interment at Middle Patent Cemetery, Banksville, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Banksville Fire House preferred.
