Obituary of Stella Panetta

Stella Panetta nee Signoretta, was born on February 11, 1927 and went home to her Father in Heaven on March 13, 2014. She was born in Cardinale, Calabria, Italy. She came to the United States in 1937 with her family. She was the daughter of Nicola and Elisabetta Signoretta. Her loving husband, Orazio "John" Panetta, and her beloved son, Mark Panetta, both predeceased her. Stella was also predeceased by her five siblings: Teresa DeGiorgio, Nicolina Delfino, Jenny Costa, Vincent James Signoretta, and Anna Costa. She was beloved "Aunt Mary" to many nieces and nephews. Stella was a friendly, fun-loving person who enjoyed cooking, baking, socializing with people, telling funny stories, and serving up a fresh brewed cup of espresso coffee. She will be missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.
