Frank Stilo, a lifetime Yonkers resident died peacefully on April 1, 2014 at the age of 78. Frank served in the Army during the Korean War. In 1964, Frank became a very proud member of the Larchmont Police Dept. During his tenure there, he attended Westchester Community College and as a result of his education he attained the rank of Sergeant Detective. Frank was very active in the Youth Program and was very instrumental in starting the D.A.R.E. Program. He was also a past president of the PBA, the Police Columbian Association as well as a member of the Watch Dogs. Frank was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone. Beloved husband of 56 years to Barbara (Ricciardi) Stilo. Devoted father of Gina (Robert) Borrelli, Carolann (Joe) Lacoparra, Francine (Nick) Plakas. Cherished grandfather of Jilliane and Albert Borrelli, Alysa, Dana, Breanna and Joseph Lacoparra. Loving brother of Nicholas Stilo and the late Sylvia Brittis. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral mass at St. Eugene Church on Saturday at 11:15 am.
