Monya Ferrara, 82, of Yonkers, NY, died Thursday, May 8, 2014. Monya was born on May 23, 1931 the youngest of twelve children born to the late Elizabeth and Anthony Chayka. Loving husband of Jerry Ferrara for 60 years. Devoted mother of Victoria (Eugene) Graham. Cherished grandmother of Kelly and Ashley Graham. Dear sister of Elizabeth Lescynski and Anna Loverso. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 9:15 am at St. John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave. Interment St. John's Cemetery (Middle Village). In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Monya's name.
