James "Pappa Rota", a lifetime Yonkers resident died peacefully on May 31, 2014 at the age of 83. For 42 years he was employed as a shop steward for Teamsters Local 456. Beloved husband of the late Ann Rota. Devoted father of James Rota Jr., LeeAnn Campisi and Douglas Rota. Cherished grandfather of Joseph and Dana Campisi and Rachel and Robert Rosa.
