Obituary of Frank Apollo

Frank Apollo was born to Vincent and Mary Apollo on April 17, 1931 and grew up in New York with his three sisters – Marion, Millie and Barbara. He passed away on July 20th, 2014 at the age of 83. Frank served his country three years during the Korean War and attained the rank of Sergeant. Frank and Mary Ann met at the age of 17 and were inseparable for almost 67 years. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Apollo on July 4, 1954 and raised and educated three children (Marianne, Frank and Lorraine). He was a grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren – Frank Michael, Anthony, Nicholas, Victoria, Danielle, and Joseph. Frank was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and made his family his priority and took pride in all his children and grandchildren's accomplishments.
Frank retired to Port Richey, Florida with Mary Ann in June 1996. They enjoyed an active social life with Frank becoming the President of the Lakes of Regency Civic Association and running many social events. He also worked a part time job as he enjoyed staying active. The last couple of years Frank retired from his part-time job and enjoyed time with Mary Ann. He leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten by his wife, children,grandchildren and the rest of the family.
