Alfreda Richardson, age 71, of Rocky Mount, NC formerly of Yonkers died Thursday, September 18, 2014. Alfreda was born September 26, 1942 in Gifford, SC the daughter of the late Horney and Josephine (Devoe) Mitchell. Beloved wife of the late Isaac M. Richardson. Loving mother of Vonzetta Strong, Derrick Mitchell, Isaac Richardson, Jr and Lashonda Richardson. Cherished grandmother of Nicole Strong, Jonathan Richardson, Ramon Urena and Aliyah Richardson. Dearsister of Carrie Mitchell, Helen Mitchell, Rose Robinson, Jessie Kaigler, Dolores Williams, Vickie Creech, Geraldine Ginn, Hattie Williams, Maude Johnson, Laura Brown Louis Mitchell and John L. Mitchell. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday from 5PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 at Bethlehem Apostolic Faith Church, 428 S. 8th Ave, Mt. Vernon. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers.
