Obituary of Eileen Rattenni
Eileen Rattenni (nee Filkowski), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died at home Friday, Oct. 3, after a long illness. She was 80. Eileen was born on Aug. 1, 1934, to Walter and Margaret Egan Filkowski, in Yonkers where she was raised and educated, graduating from Hastings High School. Over the years she worked at Anaconda Wire and Cable Company, Gimbels Department Store, International Commodities Export Corporation, Saw Mill River Industries and Vector Graphics. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Church. Eileen is survived by her husband of 60 years, Anthony Rattenni; son, Tony of Mahopac, daughters Lisa Boselli (John) and Susan Rampson (Mike) of Colorado; sister, Margaret Fontan; brothers, Robert, and Walter (Sandy); sisters-in-law Frances Forchetti and Rose DeSanctis (Joseph); grandchildren, Nicholas, Julia, Oksana, Alosha, Vika and Michael; great-granddaughter, Peyton; and many nieces and nephews. She was also loved and supported throughout her illness by her dear friends and neighbors. Friends may call on Sunday from 5PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 at St. Anthony's Church Nepera Park, 10 Squire Ave., Yonkers. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
