Lawrence "Ducky" D. Dugan,Sr., 79, of Yonkers, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014. Lawrence was born to the late Eugene and Sarah (Kelly) Dugan on May 3, 1935 in Yonkers, NY. He attended the Sacred Heart School in Yonkers and joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1952. Lawrence worked for the City of Yonkers and retired as Traffic Operations Manager in 1991. He was also a former President of the Priors Association and a life member of the ELKS Lodge #707. On March 15, 1955 he married the love of his life, Anna Gladis. In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his son Lawrence D. Dugan Jr. (Jennifer) and daughter Ellen Morley (Mike). Also his four grandchildren: Sarah Thomson (Josh), Linda Morley, Lawrence D. Dugan III (Erica), Kathleen Morley and his four great-grandchildren: Ryan, Olivia, Julianna and Hailey. Additionally, he is survived by his loving sister Mary Fernandes, his two brothers Robert and Joseph Dugan, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his four brothers: Eugene, Thomas, John and Raymond Dugan. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 PM to 9 PM at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Monastery Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers.
