Maria Borsellino of Yonkers, NY passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the age of 80. She was born February 8, 1934 in Ribera, Sicily to Vincenza and Santo Palermo. She was predeceased in 1979 by her husband Liborio. Beloved Mother to Ben and Jean Borsellino, Jessie and Tom DesMarais , Vivian and Joe Covello and Grandmother to Joseph, Matthew, Thomas, Victoria, Kristen, Benjamin, Olivia and Lauren. Survived by her brothers Joseph (Adele) Palermo, Antonio (Caterina) Palermo, and sister-in-law Lina (Jack) Palermo. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 9PM at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Ann’s Church, Yonkers on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial immediately following. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mount Saint Michael Academy Scholarship Fund, Bronx, NY.
