Rosalind Mariani, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at the age of 75. Rosalind was born in Yonkers the daughter of the late Vito and Anna Mariani. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony. She worked in the Yonkers School System as a Teacher and later as an Administrator. Prior to her career in education, she served two years in the Peace Corp in El Salvador. She was active with the Yonkers Federation of Teachers, the Enrico Fermi Educational Fund and the Yonkers P.A.L. Rosalind is survived by her brother Gerald, her nieces Christina and Alexandra and her nephews Marc, Michael and John. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Monday at 10:00AM at St. Bartholomew's Church, 15 Palmer Rd, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Enrico Fermi Educational Fund of Yonkers
