Paul Caruso, age 88, of Yonkers died Thursday, January 1, 2015. Paul was born December 15, 1926 in Calabria, Italy the son of the late Fortunato and Francesca (Timpani) Caruso. Paul was a retired Inspector for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles and a WWII veteran. He is survived by his beloved wife Lena (Mazzola) Caruso,his sister Constance Raimondi, his mother-in-law Susan Mazzola, brother- in-law, Joseph Mazzola, niece Linda ( Edward) Opaciuch. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews-in-law. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:45 at St. John The Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers.
