Francis Ellard was ahead of her time in many ways. As a child observing her then, and looking back now she was HGTV and Pinterest rolled into one.( two of my favorite things) There was chicken noodle soup simmering while her fruit fermented, in between she was distressing beams, dividing hostas and harvesting wildflower seeds. These wonderful memories of a resourceful woman live in my heart. Rest in peace Fran, and may her families memories of her comfort them at this difficult time. So sorry I am unable to be there with you. Love Laurie
