Obituary of Rose L. Mangini

Rose Mangini, of Yonkers, New York, passed away on February 15, 2015. Rose was born July 31, 1935 in Connecticut. She is predeceased by her father, Joseph LaBarbera, her mother, Lucy LaBarbera (Abendola) and her husband, Anthony Mangini. She is survived by her children, John (Theresa) Mangini and Karen (John) Broughton, three grandchildren, Anthony Mangini, Juliana Mangini and Tara (Charles) Bencivengo-Sturtevant. She recently became a beloved great-grandmother to Luke Bencivengo. Rose is also survived by her sister Mary Ann (Dennis-predeceased) Conlon and brother Joseph (Patricia) LaBarbera. Rose, a truly magnificent matriarch, was cherished by her family for her honesty, patience, strength, sacrifice and abundance of love (and great food)! Friends may call between 4:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers NY 10704. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday February 19, 2015 at Holy Rosary Church on Bradhurst Avenue in Hawthorne, NY- followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
