Our deepest condolences on Mark's passing.
We knew Mark over several seasons at the Metropolitan Opera where he and Anna were among the most enthusiastic, energetic and passionate of operagoers. Once we became acquainted, there was never an intermission when we would see each other when we didn't have a lively, informed conversation about the opera and the performance that evening. And the ones coming up!
Mark was always bright, engaging and took an interest in you. We were always impressed by his interest in what was outstanding and worth seeing and hearing at the opera house and in the concert hall. He was a true connoisseur.
And, of course, anyone who was around them for even a short time would quickly sense the love and devotion Anna and Mark had for each other.
We are honored to have known him in our small way,
