Janet Elaine Cochran Plume, 90, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, at her home in Fort Myers, FL. Born on April 5, 1924 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William Horace Dobson and Dorothy Jane Crawford. She graduated from Mt. Kisco High School in 1941 and attended Gaines Business School, New York. She married her childhood sweetheart, Charles Plume Jr., who preceded her in death. They were married for 53 years. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, Mt. Kisco. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10-11 a.m. She is survived by her children: Susan Plume (John) Reffit of Williamsburg, VA; Charles Plume III of Brewster, NY; and William (Denise) Plume of Brewster, NY; grandchildren: John Reffit, Seth Reffit, and Karen Reffit Hobbs; great-grandchildren: Ayden Hobbs, Ashley Hobbs, Olivia Reffit, Megan Reffit, Colin Reffit, Easton Reffit, and William Reffit.
