Nicholas Cossifos, age 81, of Yonkers died Sunday, March 29, 2015. Nicholas was born November 30, 1933 in Yonkers, NY the son of the late Peter and Antonia (Xanakis) Cossifos. He was employed as a supervisor for the US Postal Service, and a Navy Veteran. He is survived by his beloved wife Andriana (Halkias) Cossifos, his son, Peter Cossifos and his daughter Antonia (Steve) Rubino. Loving grandfather of 3. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:30 at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Ave, Yonkers in his memory.
