Joan A. Liptak, a lifetime Yonkers resident died peacefully on May 2, 2015 at the age of 84. Joan was a warm and charitable person who was also very artistic and creative . Beloved wife of the late George M. Liptak. Devoted mother of Dora Lynn Liptak, Robert Liptak and the late George M. Liptak. Loving grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of ten. Cherished sister of the late Patricia Vece Korwatch. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Wednesday from 9AM to 10:30AM followed by a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 11:00AM. Entombment Ferncliff Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Yonkers Animal Shelter or the Wounded Warriors Project preferred.
