Carmela Bernardi "Mella" (Muscenti), a lifetime Yonkers resident died peacefully on May 14, 2015 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Michael Bernardi. Devoted mother of Joan (Allan) Goldberg, John (Lana) Bernardi, Michael (Rosemarie) Bernardi, Jr. and Lorraine (Michael) Burgio. Cherished sister of Elaine Buttacavoli and Louis Muscenti and the late Falco Muscenti. Loving grandmother of Michael and Loryn Hollman, Michael-Robert and John Bernardi, Michael Joseph Bernardi and Michael Anthony Burgio and great-grandmother of Erica Dubie. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue on Sunday from 4-9 pm. Funeral mass at Mt. Carmel Church on Monday at 10 AM followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, T.N. 38101-9908
