Obituary of Rose Vidal

Rose (Pisante/Merna) Vidal, [70], died after a struggle with lung cancer on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 . She was born on May 31, 1944 in Bronx, NY to Antimo and Veronica E. Pisante. Surviving brother Frank Pisante and pre-desceased sister in law Eva Pisante. In 1966 she married Michael Robert Merna the marriage ended in divorce. In 1994 she re-married to Florentino Vidal . Rose was a caring, devoted, loving, strong woman who enjoyed being with her family and friends. It wasn't until later in her life she became an avid Yankee fan. She watched the Yankees whenever they played. She worked at Travelers Insurance Company for over 16 years and retired from City of Yonkers she worked at the Grinton I. Will Library. Rose is survived by her daughter Rose (Pat), daughter Annmarie (Mike), son Mike (Lina), son Will (Brooke) and her eight grandchildren: (A. Walsh)-Brittany Lynn, Daniel Ryan, (M. Merna)- Jennifer, Nicole, Rachel, Liam Antonio (W. Merna)-Alexis Shea, Logan Anthony. Visiting hours will be held at Sinatra Memorial Home 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704 on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm On Friday May 22, 2015 at 10:30am a service will be held at Sinatra Memorial Home her burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery 517 E 233rd St Bronx, NY 10470.
