Agostino Corvino was born in Andretta in the province of Avellino, Italy, to Antonietta Tedesco and Alberto Corvino on August 28, 1931. At the young age of 18, he immigrated to America, settling in the Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx. He returned to Italy for a short time to marry Lucia Cardarelli on August 10, 1961. He was a tailor by trade and worked at B.Altman for 21 years. He was an avid soccer fan and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, father-in-law, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Lucia; sons, Albert and Anthony; granddaughters, Stephanie and Cristina; and daughter-in-law, Maria Friends may call on Wednesday from 3PM to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church, 627 East 187th Street, Bronx. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.
