I'm sorry for your loss. Grandma Briccetti was a special woman. Her passion for living inspired me from the very first time I met her. Sending my love to your family.

My very heartfelt sympathy for your loss of a great lady, who I had the pleasure of meeting at one of Louisa's holiday parties. She made a lasting impression and I will remember her interest in helping others and her pride in her family.

I met Emanuela at an art workshop (collage and memory boxes) at the Mount Kisco library and immediately fell in love! What a wonderful, feisty, thoughtful, talented, woman she was--and what a great sense of humor. She loved her family and her community deeply. It was always such a pleasure to see her when she came to the library (I work there), and we all enjoyed so much the display of her watercolors, needlework, and all of the lovely things she created. (I particularly liked those button necklaces!)
I am so sorry that I'll be out of town September 6th. Please know that I will be with you in spirit, hoping that your great loss may be tempered a little by knowing how many of us thought the world of your mother/grandmother/aunt. She was a strong, intelligent, caring woman, and we are all fortunate to have known her--even those of us who met her late in life.

So sorry to hear that Emanuela is no longer with us. She was truly a "force of nature" - always engaged, caring, interested, and involved. Her intelligence was topped off by a wonderful sense of humor. I'm certainly glad I didn't miss the chance to know her.
