Still think about Noway every day. Hard to describe such a loss for friends, as I was to him and him to me. Imagining what the loss means to the family is beyond understanding and understanding is the forbidden fruit. Something so hard to reach for we who knew him. I'll continue to try and grasp it, to understand why we lost such a promising life.
twenty two years is not enough time to get to know Humberto, as I could imagine, only knowing him for eight makes me feel somehow cheated, as if he was stolen.
Strange thing to be robbed of a brother, if by bond if not blood as we were. I have never felt the sting of such heartache before. I count myself lucky for this, as anyone should. One should judge a man by his deeds not his words. Noway Moscoso as I knew him and continue to know him was a man of purpose. A Character of integrity and powerful. Powerful of mind and body and spirit. With such a unwavering sense of loyalty of such that I have never seen in another man. Truly it was something to behold to see a person that would do anything for you when all you need do is ask.
I find comfort in knowing that he planted that most precious of seeds in the birth of his son, that will carry on his image and spirit. I thank god every day that the boy lives and breaths. I pray everyday for noway, his family, and everything that the man once touched and held close to his heart. I pray that I meet him again and that I and others find solace in this truth.
Eternal rest grant unto him , O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
