For my sister and I, and our families, wish to both express our most sincere condolences and affections to our cousins and their families on the loss of their Mother, Mary. She was a special warmhearted giving person, with a great sense of humor. She was always loving and kind to myself and my sister. She was a great source of strength and support when our mother, her sister Antonietta, passed away over 14 years ago. Their relationship was often rocky but no matter what, they were there for each other and later in years, they were closer than ever. Our memories of our Aunt Mary are full with the visits to her home in Yonkers with so much chaos but always affection. We spent our visits running from room to room, playing games with our cousins, chasing around all those rooms, and in the background the sound of Uncle Mario's laughter. We treasure our childhood memories with our cousins and though we are all grown with children ourselves, the smile that was uniquely Aunt Mary's will never vanish from our hearts and our thoughts. For my sister and I, she was our connection to our Mother and her loss is severing of that last link. We will miss her so much and we are grateful that though we had just her to call Aunt, we had the best of all and loved her always for the wonderful person she was to us. For my cousins and their families, please know that no matter how far away and how much time passes, we are family and both our Mothers instilled in us how very important it is to keep the love and understanding going and to always be there for one another no matter the circumstances. Celeste, Charlie, Marian and Charlie Jr. Romaine and myself and my husband Luis send our love and prayers to all of you during this time of grief. We are there for you all.
