Pia Gualandi (nee Savoretti) was born in the Repubblica di San Marino on May 9, 1926 and entered Heaven’s gates on November 14, 2015. Pia was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Gualandi to whom she was married to for over fifty years. A consummate Italian mother and grandmother, Pia could be found preparing homemade pasta and piadina in her kitchen any day for anyone who decided to drop by. Affectionately known as Nonni to her grandchildren and their friends, she opened her home, her kitchen and her heart to all. She will be missed and remain forever in our hearts. She is survived by her daughters Linda and Debby, their husbands’ Frank and Joe, grandchildren Laura, Diana, John, Joseph, and Matthew and great grandson, Luca Joseph. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home Inc. 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704 on Wednesday between 5-9pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Annunciation Church, Crestwood NY on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Ferncliff Shrine of Memories, Hartsdale, NY.
