Richard H."Richie" Hubert, age 75, a Katonah resident for 45 years, formerly of the Bronx died Saturday, January 30, 2016 surrounded by his family. Richard was born January 19, 1941 in Denville, NJ the son of the late Harold and Gladys (Welfare) Hubert. Richie was a retired school bus driver from Pioneer Bus Company in the Bronx. He served in the US Army during Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Orr) Hubert, his loving children: Richard H. (Maura) Hubert, Jr., Jennie Hubert and Lisa (Doug) Hubert-Curl. Cherished grandfather of five grandchildren. Also surviving are his two adored nieces. Richard was pre-deceased by his parents and his sister Carol. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4PM to 9PM at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mount Kisco. Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton,NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Westchester Putnam at www.vnahv.
