Emily A. Giangrasso passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with cancer on February 15, 2016. For over 30 years, Emily worked for the Yonkers Public Schools. Emily is survived by her husband Ronnie Faivre, her daughter, Ashley Faivre, her father Louis Gammone (Maureen Monahan), her brother, Louis Gammone (Jane), her nephews Christopher Gammone (Heather) and Vincent Gammone (Stephanie) and her grand niece, Juliana Lucia. She is also survived by her two step daughters, Christine Giangrasso Finney and Debbie Giangrasso, her loving grandchildren and many cousins. Emily is predeceased by her mother Clementine Gammone and her late husband, Joseph Giangrasso. Emily touched the lives of many, always putting others first and putting a smile on the face of everyone she met. The family will receive friends at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. on Wednesday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:15 AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to American Cancer Society.
