Hugo "Giggs" DeMarco, age 91, of Yonkers died Friday, February 26, 2016. Hugo was born February 24, 1925 in New Brunswick, NJ the son of the late Nazzereno and Grace DeMarco. Hugo served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II after the war Hugo became a 3rd order Franciscan and established his own successful construction company, doing work for Mt. Carmel Church, the city of Yonkers and much more. Hugo was predeceased by his 7 siblings, his wives Yolanda and Clare and his daughter Debra DeMarco. He is survived by his children Leslie DeMarco Volpicelli, Mary DeMarco, Alexander DeMarco and Nicholas DeMarco. Also surviving are his grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday from 5PM to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Tuesday at 10:00 at Mt Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers.
