John LaSpisa was born in Ventimiglia, Sicily on October 23rd 1925. He moved to New York with his wife and 2 children in 1967 to start a better life filled of opportunities. John was a hard working man with a heart of gold. He loved his family dearly. He was survived by his wife Domenica, his children Frank and Rosaria, his grandchildren Luigi, Laura, John, and Gabriella, and great grandchildren Gianna, Luca, and Sebastian. He died on Sunday, March 6th 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:45 at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E. 241st Street, Bronx. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
