Obituary of David W. Fernandez

Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
David W. Fernandez of Carmel and formally of Armonk and Bedford Hills, NY died peacefully on April 20, 2016 at the age 52. Beloved son of Patricia (Finch) and the late Caesar Fernandez. Devoted brother of Timothy (Christine) Fernandez, Pamela (David) Pinchbeck and Michael Fernandez. Devoted Uncle to Stephanie, Samantha, Mandy and Matthew. David grew up in Bedford Hills NY and graduated from Fox Lane High School in 1981 then attended St John's University. He spent most of his life in the food industry and shared his love of cooking with many that met him. He was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Boston Red Sox and Syracuse Orange. David was lost too soon, he had a heart of gold and loved tenderly and was very humble to all he met. David also had a true passion for animals and leaves behind his very loved cat "Syra Cuse". His favorite past time by far was watching his nieces play sports and spending time with them. He loved spending his weekends with his nephew and any adventure that came up. We are truly heartbroken by his loss and know he is now at peace. In lieu of flowers we request that you make a donation to www.catassistanceny.org
