Madeline Silvestri, age 95, a lifelong resident of Yonkers died Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Madeline was born November 27, 1920 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret (Deretta) DePalma. Beloved wife of the late Donald Silvestri. She is survived by her loving children Laura Penzo and Vincent (Adeline) Silvestri; her cherished grandchildren Madeline (Joseph) DeMartino, Donna Adams, Vincent (Anna) Silvestri, Jr. and Donald (Carolina) Silvestri. Also surviving are nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Madeline was predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence DePalma, Dominic DePalma, Vincent DePalma and her sister Rose Aurisicchio. Friends may call on Friday from 4PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Saturday at 10:30 at Sacred Heart Monastery Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers. (www.sinatraffh.com)
