Obituary of Francisco Laranjeiro

Francisco "Maló" Laranjeiro was born and raised in Alqueidao da Serra, Portugal. From a very young age he learned to be an honest, hardworking, dedicated man. As a young man he made the decision to move to Yonkers, New York after marrying the love of his life so that they could have a family of their own and provide them with greater opportunities. Francisco started his own painting business and loved what he did. He treated everyone including his employees with respect and generosity. Everything he ever did was always for the greater good of others including his family. Francisco also took pride in his home and his garden. He loved life and was passionate about everything that he did. He had a talent for creativity and kept busy building memories for his family to have and to hold on to. Francisco is survived by his brothers and sisters, Silvino, Anibal, Aurelia, and Marina, his wife Conceicao Laranjeiro and his two children, Miguel Laranjeiro, and Sara Laranjeiro. He is joined in heaven by his parents Adolfo and Julia and his sister Guilhermina. He was a dedicated and loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, friend, and so much more. He continues to be loved by many and will forever be remembered and missed. Francisco was the heart and soul of the Laranjeiro family and will continue to be while protecting and caring for them as he always did, but from up above in "God's Garden" now. May he rest in peace.
