Walter DeMaio, age 86, of Yonkers died Monday, July 4, 2016. Walter was born September 25, 1929 in Bronx, NY the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Falkowski) DeMaio. He is survived by his beloved wife Frances (Basso) DeMaio, his devoted sons: Walter (Mary) DeMaio, Christopher (Joanne) DeMaio and Anthony DeMaio, grandfather of six. Also surviving is a dear brother Alfred DeMaio, a sister-in-law Carol Shapiro and 14 neices and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday from 5PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 at Christ The King Church, 740 North Broadway, Yonkers. Interment will be inMt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
