Hughes, John A “Jack”, Age 70 passed away on July 26, 2016 of Castalian Springs, Tennessee (25 April 1946 – 26 July 2016) Born in Mt Kisco, NY. Graduated from Fox Lane High School 1965. Highly distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force 1967 - 1989. Second career in Aviation for L-3 communication based in Greenville, Texas. Preceded in death by Father Thomas A Hughes, Mother Marie (Dennett) Hughes, and Brother Thomas A Hughes. Survived by his wife, Sandra Hughes; sisters Margaret Hughes of Avon, North Carolina; Marcy Hughes Dzamba (Tom) of Wells, Maine; Fantastic Father of five children: John Hughes (Angie) of Bonaire, Georgia; Scott Hughes (Mindy) of Norfolk , Virginia; Mark Hughes (Jennifer) of Buffalo, New York; Jason Hughes ( Allison) of Savannah Georgia; and Christina Hughes Maddox ( Michael) of Warner Robins, Georgia and also nine grandchildren. Three step daughters Shelby Boyce of Sherman Texas, Angela McFadden of Plano Texas, and Kimberly Pietras of Camden, New York and also four step grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Oelker, Cox & Sinatra in Mount Kisco, NY on Sunday evening July 31, 2016 from 6pm-9pm. Services to be held at St. Francis Church in Mount Kisco, NY on August 1, 2016 at 10:00am
