Patsy F. Viggiano, a longtime Yonkers resident died peacefully on December 22, 2016 at the age of 90. For 41 years Pat worked for the U.S. Postal Service primarily as a logistics coordinator. He served in the United States Army during World War II in Panama. Pat was a member of the Frank A. Rea American Legion Post where he served as commander for many years and was a longtime commander of the Central War Veterans Committee. He also was a commander of the 9th Veterans District of New York State. Pat was a wonderful family man who cherished his grandchildren greatly. Beloved husband of Joan (Gurka) Viggiano. Devoted father of Antoinette (James) Roche of Mahopac, NY and Pat (Catherine) Viggiano Jr. of Seacacus, NJ. Loving brother of Vincent Viggiano of Tucson, AZ. And the late Mary Berardis and Edward Viggiano. Cherished grandfather of James Jr., Joseph and Gina Roche and Christian and Nicholas Viggiano. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Monday December 26, 2016 from 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at Sacred Heart Monastery Church on Tuesday at 930 am. Interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
