Obituary of Donna M. DiChiaro

DiChiaro, Donna Marie (nee Rossi), 67, of Suffern, NY, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, January 22, 2017. She was born and raised in Yonkers, NY, later relocating to Rockland County, NY. She was an Administrative Assistant at Ampacet Corporation for many years before becoming a school bus driver for East Ramapo Central School District. She retired from East Ramapo after 25 years of service in 2013. In her free time she loved shopping, going out for lunches with her friends, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Jaclyn Maneri and son-in-law Anthony Maneri, cousins Michael and Jane Lauria, cousins Dominick and Debi Lauria, and longtime friend and former husband Joseph DiChiaro. Donna is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews Michael John, Meredith, Kelly, Matthew and Alex. She was adored by her great nieces and nephews Shane, Ryan, Ruby and Kiley, who she loved to spoil. She is also survived by many cousins, family and close friends. She was predeceased by her mother Madeline Rossi, as well as her beloved Aunt and Uncle Mildred and Michael Lauria. The services will be held on Wednesday, 1/25/2017 in the evening from 4PM-8PM at the Sinatra Memorial Home, located at 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704. A funeral service will be held Thursday 1/26/2017 at 10AM at St. John the Baptist Church located at 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY. 10704. An Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 209 Truman Ave, Yonkers, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s name can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, her favorite charity.
