Dora DiFabio, a longtime Yonkers resident died peacefully on January 23, 2017. Dora was born in Naples, Italy on March 23, 1938 to Giovanni and Genoeffa Roscigno. She was 78. She is survived by her loving husband Arturo and her son John (Rosanna) DiFabio and a daughter Anita (Craig) DiFabio-Smith. She was pre-deceased by her son Arthur in 2013. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren: Christian and Michael DiFabio, Arianna and Angelo Smith and Daniella DiFabio. Four brothers Roberto, Rodolfo, Aldo and Italo Roscigno died earlier. When Dora came to the united states she lived in the home of Anna Riccio and her sons Jerry and Nick Riccio whom she considered her surrogate mother and brothers.
