Carmela "Millie" Macagnone entered into rest on Friday, March 3, 2017 at her home with her loving family at her side. Carmela was born on November 22, 1928 in the Bronx to Nicholas and Frances nee(Champagne) Alpino. She was the devoted wife of Michael Macagnone who died in 1994. She is survived by her three loving daughters; Agnes Rascona, Fran Macagnone-Galente, and Michele Popov; her cherished grandchildren Jerome and Michael Rascona, KJ, Michael, and Nicky Popov, Meco and Kenny Galente; great-grandmother of Juliet and Ashley Rascona.
Carmela's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 10:45 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers NY. Her family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Sinatra Memorial Home on 601 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, NY. Interment will be held at Ferncliff Cemetery on 280 Secor Rd in Hartsdale, NY.
