Marie Jean Durante, age 82, of the Bronx died Monday, March 6, 2017. Jean was born October 25, 1934 in New York, NY the daughter of the late Nicola and Tessie (Iacovino) Lalli. She was employed as a Communication Supervisor for Misericordia Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Anthony R. Durante. Beloved mother of Theresa A. (Joseph) Bivona and Anthony N. (Nicole) Durante. Cherished grandmother of Rita Ann Bivona (Albert), Nicholas A. Bivona (Antoinette), Juliana Durante and Krista Durante. Loving great grandmother of Anthony, Valentina and Theresa. Loving sister of the late Lillian Lalli, Maggie Cermola, Josephine Pacelle, Nettie Datillo, Gloria Coppola, Frank Lalli, Alfred Lalli, Anthony Lalli, Benny Lalli, and John Lalli. Jean leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be deeply missed by all. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Friday at 10:00 at St. Clare of Assisi Church, 1918 Paulding Ave, Bronx. Entombment will be in St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx, NY. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Clare of Assisi School, 1911 Hone Ave, Bronx, NY.
