I knew Bennie for over 40 years. He was always kind, generous and respectful to me. He was a devoted family man, good-hearted, funny, a great jokester and story teller. I didn't see him often because of our respective geographies, but whenever we met, even though years may have passed, he always greeted me with a smile and a hug. I will always remember him with affectionate respect. He had a long life, and now we can all be comforted to know he is at peace in the arms of God.
