Nunzio Cianfaglione, age 94, of Yonkers died Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Nunzio was born January 28, 1923 in Pratola Peligna, Italy the son of the late Emidio and Francesca (Di Cioccio) Cianfaglione. He is survived by his beloved wife Elisa (Di Bacco) Cianfaglione, one daughter: Luciana (Pete) Altero and one son: Emidio (Maria) Cianfaglione, his granddaughters, Laura Cianfaglione, Jennifer (Dan) Carvino, Christina ( Arthur) Viggiano his grandsons, Peter (Paula) Altero, John Altero and his great granddaughter, Mia Elisa Viggiano. Also surviving is his sisters Felicia Cianfaglione. and several nieces and nephews. Nunzio was predeceased by his brother Gilbert Cianfaglione.and sister Maria Zavarella. Friends may call on Friday from 3pm to 8pm at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 at St. John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Sinai Hospital.
