Vincent J. DiNino, age 74, of Mt. Vernon died Saturday, April 22, 2017. Vincent was born April 9, 1943 in Yonkers, NY the son of the late Vincenzo and Constance (Silvestri) DiNino. He was employed as a Custodian by Yonkers and Mt. Vernon Board of Education, after his retirement in 2001, he volunteered in the Mt. Vernon Elementary Schools and was affectionately called "Mr. Vinny" by the children. Vincent was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of Italy, and was twice voted as Polish man of the year. He is survived by numerous cousins and friends. The funeral mass will be Tuesday at 11:00 at St. Casimir Church, 239 Nepperhan Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers.
