Genevieve Helen Bayorek (nee Blachowicz) , a longtime Yonkers NY resident, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at age 100.Devoted mother of Irene Tesfai of Columbus OH and Terry Bayorek of Manhattan NY. Loving grandmother of Susan and Michael Tesfai. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley J. Bayorek, brother, Walter Blachowicz and sister, Janina Bogdan.There are NO visitation hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at St. Casimir's Church at 11AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
