Henry M. Propper, a longtime resident of New Castle, NY died peacefully on May 8, 2017 at the age of 88. For many years Hank owned and operated the A. J. Courtmel Contracting Company in New York City. He graduated St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Hank was elected to the University' s sports hall of fame for his excellence in basketball. Hank served in the Army in the Korean War reaching the rank of Lieutenant. Beloved husband of the late Kathryn (Sears) Propper. Devoted father of Henry M. (Mary) Propper Jr., David (Angelina) Propper, Robert (Tracey) Propper and Susan Propper. Dear brother of Morton Propper, Barbara Weston and the late Ronald Propper. Friends may call at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home , 262 E. Main St., Mt. Kisco, NY on Thursday from 4-8PM. Funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Friday at 10:AM followed by interment at St. Francis Cemetery.»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.
