Edward J. Sapienza, of Little Ferry NJ and formerly of Yonkers, NY, died on July 22, 2009 after a brief illness. Born on April 6, 1931 to the late Carmine and Ruth Sapienza, he was 70. He was employed at Jacoby Appliance of Hackensack, NJ for over 40 years. During his leisure he enjoyed bowling at Homefield Bowl in Yonkers and Bowler City in Hackensack. Devoted brother of Richard of Texas, Joseph of Albany, NY, John of LaGrangeville, NY, and Thomas of Ardsley, NY and their families. Dear uncle and great uncle to many. Eddie especially enjoyed h is Sunday trips to New York for breakfast with his brother Tommy and his family, including his "Little Buddy" Christopher and dog pals Molly and Romeo. He will be sorely missed by all. Friends may call at the Hastings Funeral Home, 15 Spring Street, on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Mt.
