Helen Althaus, age 76, of 221 West 251st Street, Bronx died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Methodist Home, Bronx.Mrs. Althaus was born December 21, 1932 at New York, NY the daughter of the late John and the late Johanna (Sour) Kamuf. She was employed by Manhattan College, Bronx, N.Y. as a Registrar. She is survived by two daughters: Margaret (John) Childer, Janet (Scott) Hilley and one son: James Althaus. Sister of: Randy (Annmarie) Kamuf
Predeceased by her Brother, Donald Kamuf
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 at Visitation Church, 160 Van Cortlandt Park South, Bronx where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Msgr. Larkin.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Crematory, Bronx on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
