Isabel Mary (Gagliano) Fisher, 91
Isabel Mary (Gagliano) Fisher, 91 passed away peacefully on August 20, 2017 in Mount Vernon, NY. She was born on April 10, 1926 in Yonkers, NY to John and Marie Mangini.
Isabel grew up in Yonkers, NY. She graduated from Marymount College and went on to pursue her Master's degree at Villa Schifanoia in Tuscany, Italy.
Isabel married Salvatore Gagliano of Bronx, NY in 1950. They were happily married for 39 years.
Isabel was an avid lover of music, especially the piano.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an active member of the Roman Catholic Church.
In 1990, Isabel married Anthony Fisher of Yonkers, NY. They were happily married for 22 years.
Isabel is survived by her sister Rosemary Fazio of Flushing, NY, her four children Andrew Gagliano of Scarsdale, NY, Carmel Summers of Naperville, Il, John Gagliano of Yonkers, NY, Marie Heaton of Watertown, Ma. and step-children Paula Giandomenico of Yonkers, NY and Anthony Fisher Jr. of Greenlawn, NY.
Isabel is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Isabel was preceded in death by her first husband Salvatore Gagliano and her second husband Anthony Fisher.
Funeral Services will be held at Sinatra Funeral Home at 601 Yonkers Ave. Yonkers, NY.
Visiting hours are Thursday August 24th from 6:00-8:00pm and Friday August 25th from 5:00-9:00 pm.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday August 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul The Apostle Church at 602 McLean Ave. Yonkers, NY.
Burial services will follow at St. Mary's cemetery at 114 Sprain Rd. in Yonkers, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wartburg Adult Care Community, 1 Wartburg Place, Mount Vernon, NY 10552 or a donation may be made to your local Catholic parish to have a mass said in her name.
The family wishes to extend its extreme gratitude to all of the staff at Meadowview Assisted Living at The Wartburg Adult Care Community for all of the wonderful care and support she received while residing there.
