Adelino Batista Pastilha, 89, of Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2017. He was born in Covas Altas, Portugal to Emília and António Pastilha on March 2, 1928. He immigrated to the United States in 1976 and worked for Liberty Lines until retirement. Adelino was a kind, dedicated, and hardworking man who appreciated the simple things in life and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carminda do Fetal Vieira, and his five children: Maria Isilda, Maria do Carmo, Adelino Fernando, Mario, and Noemia. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever. Friends may call at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY on Thursday from 4-8PM. A funeral mass is scheduled at Nossa Senhora da Fátima in Yonkers on Friday at 10:00AM.
