Longtime Yonkers resident, Jose Andujar (known to most people as "Miguel Oquendo"), passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was 78. Jose is survived by his sister, nieces, and nephews. Viewing services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, at Sinatra Funeral Home, 315 South Broadway, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Jose's remains will be interred at St. Mary's Cemetery, 114 Sprain Road, on Wednesday, May 16. This will occur after the gathering at Sinatra at 10:00 a.m. for the religious ceremony. Jose was a strong man whose tenacious character will always be remembered.
