My deepest condolences to Carolyn's family. I will always remember Carolyn as a kind and caring person and a good friend to those she spent her time with. I took this picture one weekend at the end of January, 2013 when she and my mother, Sue Miller, were spending the afternoon working on their quilts at Apple Bank. Carolyn had brought in a selection of her 'stash' for me to sort through and select to take with me for a few-weeks of vacation when I was going to piece several quilt tops for her to use with her various quilting charities. She was always very supportive and encouraging and I enjoyed showing her what I was working on or thinking of working on and getting her feedback. I wanted to share this photo with her daughters, especially, as it shows her enjoying one of her favorite activities.
My thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
